And tomorrow (actually today as the time is currently 12:41 a.m.) happens to be the first Sunday of June. I am taking a wild leap and presenting my offering to the Gods and Goddesses of the World Wide Web in hopes they will graciously and kindly accept. SugarCookies is a way for me to share with you a taste of wisdom from those I may encounter of any age. It is a sort of homage to my late great grandfather Charlie "Sugarman" Knott, Jr. He is at the top of a short list of favorite folks and God's gift to my world. As much as I love to collect, keep, salvage, and savor, I was foolish enough to let this beautiful soul transition from this Earth without documenting a single word he shared. Lesson learned because I have been inspired to record, photograph, video, and archive as much heritage and history as possible. This is what is truly valuable to me. Now I know.
